Dealer Pack
Harco prides itself on offering insurance products and services tailored to the unique exposures of truck and auto dealerships, truck lease and rental operations, and other transportation-related equipment providers.
Dealer Pack insurance products are marketed through Harco's staff of Regional Sales Managers. The RSM's are experienced and knowledgeable. They are uniquely qualified to assess a dealership's operations and to recommend a complete program of insurance coverage that meets the specialized needs of today's dealer.
Harco offers a broad, multiple-line package policy for garage operations. Eligible operations include:
- Franchised medium- and heavy-duty truck dealerships.
- Franchised auto dealerships.
- Heavy equipment and implement dealerships.
- Truck lease and rental operations.
- Truck parts and repair shops.
Standard coverages include the following:
- Truck Lease and Rental Insurance.
- Property insurance for buildings and contents.
- Liability insurance, including products and completed operations.
- Insurance for customers' vehicles and goods while at the dealership.
- Protection against employee dishonesty, depositors' forgery and other forms of crime.
- Worker's Compensation coverage in some states.
- An Umbrella policy that provides excess liability insurance under a variety of situations.
Numerous additional coverages round out Harco's comprehensive protection for dealership operations. Surety bonds are one of Harco's most heavily utilized optional coverages. These include bonds required by government regulations as well as bid and performance bonds, which are often specified by municipalities or large corporate truck purchasers before a bid will be considered. Harco also provides, on an optional basis, coverage for computers, signs and fences, employee tools, and plate glass. In addition, through our Harco Insurance Services agency, we can arrange for specialty coverages, such as Pollution or Flood insurance.
